Steel is a steel trading company equipped with 20,000 m² of covered warehouses, complemented by an additional 20,000 m² of uncovered storage space. This allows for the storage of 30,000 tons of rolled and forged bars. The storage system is organized to optimize all logistical activities, ensuring efficiency and fast service delivery.

Steel offers a wide range of quality grades and dimensions. The supply condition for steels can be in the natural state, but thanks to our heat treatment division, it can also be supplied as Quenched and Tempered, Normalized, Annealed, or Stress-Relieved (stretched). Steel can meet specific technical treatment requirements through customized treatment cycles, ensuring the achievement of desired mechanical properties even if they are outside standard specifications.
Steel operates 8 cutting lines capable of handling diameters up to 1200mm. Our service includes custom cutting for pieces up to 20mm thick, packaged on custom Europallets based on the client's specifications.
The straightness of bars within a deformation tolerance of 1mm per 1000mm is ensured by horizontal hydraulic presses capable of handling dimensions ranging from 50mm to 360mm, with bar lengths from 3 to 12 meters.
Our staff, with over twenty years of experience in managing steel mills, rolling mills, cold working, and logistics, offers specialized consulting on all steel brands. We provide detailed information on the mechanical properties and optimal uses of various steel types, ensuring tailored solutions to meet our customers' specific needs.
Material handling in our warehouse is ensured by 19 overhead cranes with capacities ranging from 6.5 to 30 tons. Qualified personnel manage daily receipt of goods from steel mills and prepare shipments for our clients. An 18-ton front forklift completes material handling in external warehouses for forged and rolled products. Additionally, two 20-ton trucks ensure daily distribution across Northern Italy, providing comprehensive and efficient service.
